After 10 years in the hotel and construction business in the US and India with their companies ICE Corum Infrastructure and ICE Hospitality, the Desai Brothers — Mihir and Dhanesh — are now ready to make their foray into the Indian entertainment industry under the banner Ice Production .The Desai Brothers — who have already financed two Indo-American films — are planning four productions in Bollywood over the next one year.The duo explain that their sole reason to enter the entertainment industry here is their love for Indian cinema and particularly family entertainment. “Our first film to hit the floors in February is a romantic comedy set in South Africa with a mix of stars and new talent, while our second film will hit the floors in December and will be an action romance. The third and the fourth films will be family comedies. All our films will be shot abroad and have a budget of 10 to 15 crore,” say the brothers.The Desai Brothers are looking at making family films that reach the youth and the older generation and also promote new talent from across the globe, right from actors, musicians, directors to technicians. They add, “In our films you will see a mix of upcoming talent and grand locations, which is our USP. We want to entertain the Indian audience around the world with good films and bring more talent into Indian cinema without compromising on the quality.”
